Luke Kanuta

Head Coach


With a Personal Trainer background, Luke has a lot of experience in training people one on one, however thrives more in a group training environment. 

Luke has played rugby for a number of years, at a representative level and overseas. He has been involved in the Functional Fitness scene for five years but has been health and fitness focused for over eleven. Struggling with his own weight for a number of years after finishing up with rugby, Luke got to a whopping 140kgs. He knew he had to make a change in his life to improve his health and has never looked back. He is passionate about sharing his story, experiences and knowledge with the community to motivate others to also want to make that change. 

Being a parent to four children, means that juggling his fitness regime and full-time work which is labour intensive is no easy feat! If one person can show you that there is always time to work on yourself, Luke is that person.

Houston Noema

Coach and P.T


Houston is a dynamic qualified Personal Trainer who has been in the industry for over 5 years. He is passionate about seeing people reach their goals, especially the seemingly unattainable big goals! Houston is fuelled by helping people overcome and scale their hurdles. His main focus is strength and conditioning.

Teresa Kanuta

Teresa has a background in competitive dancing, martial arts and touch rugby

Fitness has always been a passion of hers, but after having children she got to her heaviest weight of 114kgs and as a result has struggled for quite some time with her sugar levels. It was here she realised she needed to work even harder to maintain a healthy lifestyle, not just for herself, but also for her kids.

After trialing and failing a number of different training styles and diets, she found Functional Fitness. As a result she has been able to stay fit for longer and has found a good balance that she wants to share with the community. Lifting weights has had a huge benefit to her own health, and she now wants to change people's perceptions on lifting. 

Juggling four children, full time work, coaching, and having recently also completed a Masters, she is a great example of "there is always time".

Kim Noema

Kim is a qualified Personal Trainer and has been in the industry for over three years. She is a powerhouse of energy and her love for holistic health and self-care is what drives her to use this platform to connect, inspire and build relationships within our community.

Kim’s main focus is working with women and she currently looks after our ArenaLadies classes.
